I always thought Search Engine Optimisation was hard, complicated, and not something I was capable of doing myself.
I’d heard so many stories of SEO experts leaving small business owners feeling used and confused.
So when I was taking the leap in launching my business, did I consider SEO marketing as a career?
Absolutely not.
It wasn’t until I was working through other small businesses marketing to dos, that I saw that SEO specialists could do things a different way.
They could be transparent, they could be affordable…and they could be a champion for small business owners to take SEO by the horns.
So I took the leap, and went full hog into testing and learning what SEO is. Then quickly become obsessed with the Search Engine Optimisation world.
My favourite thing ever (sorry, babe).
Hundreds of hours learning from the masters of SEO, how the big guns flex their organic long term reach, figuring out how simple the basics are. And all that study paid off - I managed to shift my own miserable stats from a couple of eye balls to thousands with some small shifts, realised how good I was at breaking it down for others, and started helping other small business owners see what is possible.
